Threshers, Poorbeagles, Mackerels, Sandsharks, and Goblin Sharks

Some people believe that many of the families listed here belong in the Order Orectolobiformes. Some also think that every family in Order Orectolobiformes should be placed here. The families listed in this order lack the nictitating eyelid present in Orectolobiformes and have and underslung, not terminal, mouth. They have two spineless dorsal fins, one anal fin, five gill slits, and many species lack gill rakers. The order Lamniformes as I see it has seven families. These sharks are ovoviviparous.
